I needed to get out. I was stuck in the corporate rat race, day in and day out. It was draining, it was exhausting and it was killing my soul.
Incoming, LIFE CHANGE! Tom and I put our heads together and came up with a build your own grilled cheese, build your own milkshake restaurant idea. We took the time to research all that would entail and realized that we were biting off more than we could chew.
This is how Grill’d Food Truck was born.
It has taken us almost 10 months and we are close to being open for business! To say that starting a business serving food is an uphill battle, is an understatement. There have been a lot of sleepless nights, praying and relying on the promises of God to get me through this. But, as I said to a friend recently, I wouldn’t trade this for one day back in the corporate world.
I have found my passion and it is exhilarating!
